Join us at the Rustic Inn & Event Center, May 3rd - 4th 2025, for Novel & Nostalgia: Creative Workshops Weekend. A special event designed to celebrate and promote wellness and the arts through hands-on workshops. We are seeking artisans and wellness workers who are excited to share their skills and knowledge with a passionate audience.

Do I bring my own materials?

Yes, you will need to bring your own materials and any specially equipment or tools.

How many days or hours must I commit to teaching?

Classes are 90 minutes.

Saturday - Four workshops in the morning and four workshops in the evening.

Sunday - Four classes in the morning and two in the afternoon.

You can choose to instruct one class for the weekend.

Note that Sunday is shorter.

Saturday

Breakfast: 7:00 am - 9:00 am

Block one: 9:30 am - 11:00 am - full

Block two: 11:30 am -1:00 pm - one slot left

Block three: BREAK

Block four: 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm - full

Block five: 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm - full

Sunday

Breakfast: 7:00 am - 9:00 am

Block one: 9:30 am - 11:00 am - one slot left

Block two: 11:30 am -1:00 pm - full

Block three: BREAK

Block four: 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm - one slot left

What will be my timeslot?

The workshop submission form includes an option to select your preferred time slots, and you may choose multiple options. Final time slots will be evaluated and assigned in February.

If you would like to teach a cooking or baking workshop please choose either Block 2 or Block 4.

When will I know the final amount of people in my class?

We will provide periodic updates and increase communication as the event date approaches. A final tally will be shared one week before the event.

Can I bring swag?

Yes! We’ll be assembling swag bags ahead of the event and will need your items beforehand. We request that the products are small or as flat as possible to minimize weight and bulk.

Can I participate as an attendee?

Yes! And you will receive a 20% discount on the purchase of a ticket.

What if I can no longer teach a workshop?

Overcommunication is always welcome! Please keep us updated as soon as possible so we can make arrangements to find another instructor and notify any participants who have signed up for your workshop.

What are we doing to make this even better?

We are looking for sponsors and donator to this event that can help with costs!

How It Works

-You will receive an email confirmation once your registration has been received.

-We will review your application and confirm approval as soon as possible.

Applications will close on March 28th , 2025, with final confirmations sent via phone and email by April 1st, 2025.

Note: If particularly compelling activities are submitted after March 28th, they may still be considered, depending on space availability.

-If a class does not meet the minimum enrollment requirement (e.g., 1-3 students), we may consider canceling it to ensure a meaningful and productive experience for you.

If any changes or updates are made, you will be notified via email.
